Indulge in the sweet, crispy perfection of deep-fried marshmallows! These treats are golden brown on the outside with a gooey marshmallow center. Roll them in graham cracker crumbs for a campfire-inspired flavor. Perfect for a fun dessert!

  1. 1 bag large marshmallows
  2. 1 cup pancake mix
  3. 1/2 cup water
  4. 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  5. 1 cup graham cracker crumbs
  6. Oil for frying (vegetable or canola oil)
  7. Powdered sugar for dusting (optional)
  8. Chocolate sauce for dipping (optional)

Instructions

  • Heat the oil in a deep fryer or large pot to 375°F (190°C).
  • In a medium bowl, combine the pancake mix, water, and vanilla extract. Mix until smooth to form a batter.
  • Place the graham cracker crumbs in a shallow bowl.
  • Dip each marshmallow into the batter, ensuring it is fully coated.
  • Roll the coated marshmallow in the graham cracker crumbs to coat evenly.
  • Carefully place the marshmallow into the hot oil and fry for about 30-60 seconds, or until golden brown.
  • Use a slotted spoon to remove the marshmallow from the oil and place it on a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess oil.

 

  • Repeat with the remaining marshmallows.

Notes

  • Serve the fried marshmallows immediately while they’re still hot and gooey!
  • Dust with powdered sugar for an extra touch of sweetness.

 

  • You can also serve with chocolate sauce for dipping for a more indulgent treat.
