  1. 1 pound ground beef
  2. 1 onion, diced
  3. 1 green bell pepper, diced
  4. 1 red bell pepper, diced
  5. 2 cups pasta (penne or rotini works well)
  6. 2 cups shredded provolone cheese
  7. 1 cup beef broth
  8. 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  9. 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  10. 1 teaspoon onion powder
  11. Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions

  • Cook the pasta to al dente according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  • Brown the beef in a skillet over medium heat, breaking it apart. Add the diced onion and bell peppers, cooking until softened.
  • Layer in the crockpot: Add half of the cooked pasta, followed by half of the beef mixture.
  • Sprinkle cheese: Add half of the shredded provolone cheese over the first layer.
  • Repeat the layers with the remaining pasta, beef mixture, and cheese.
  • Mix the sauce: In a small bowl, whisk together the beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  • Pour the sauce evenly over the casserole.
  • Slow cook: Cover and cook on low for 3-4 hours until hot and creamy.
