Description

This Crockpot Loaded Steak and Potato Bake is a hearty, comfort-food dish that’s perfect for a busy day! Tender sirloin steak, diced potatoes, and a savory blend of seasonings cook together to create a deliciously rich meal. Topped with melted cheddar cheese for an extra cheesy finis

Ingredients

Scale
  1. 2 lbs sirloin steak, cubed
  2. 4 large potatoes, diced
  3. 1 onion, diced
  4. 1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
  5. ½ cup beef broth
  6. ¼ cup Worcestershire sauce
  7. Salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika to taste

Instructions

  • Layer the Ingredients: In the crockpot, layer the cubed steak, diced potatoes, and diced onion. Season with garlic powder, salt, pepper, and paprika to taste.
  • Add the Liquid: In a small bowl, combine the beef broth and Worcestershire sauce. Pour this mixture evenly over the ingredients in the crockpot.
  • Cook: Cover and cook on LOW for 6–8 hours or on HIGH for 3–4 hours, until the steak is tender and the potatoes are cooked through.
  • Add the Cheese: In the final 10–15 minutes of cooking, sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese on top. Cover the crockpot and let the cheese melt.
  • Serve and Enjoy: Scoop the mixture into bowls and serve warm. Optionally, garnish with fresh parsley or green onions for extra flavor.

Notes

  • If you prefer a thicker sauce, you can add a bit of flour to the beef broth mixture to thicken it.
  • For a spicier version, add a pinch of cayenne pepper or red pepper flakes.
  • Garnish with sour cream or crispy bacon bits for added flavor!
  • This recipe makes for great leftovers and can be stored in the refrigerator for 3-4 days.
