Description

A creamy and savory chicken dish made in the crockpot, Crockpot Angel Chicken features tender chicken breasts, creamy golden mushroom soup, and a rich, flavorful sauce served over angel hair pasta. Perfect for a hassle-free dinner!


Ingredients

  1. 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  2. 1/4 cup butter
  3. 1 packet Italian dressing mix
  4. 1 can (10.75 ounces) condensed golden mushroom soup
  5. 1/2 cup chicken broth
  6. 4 ounces cream cheese
  7. 1 pound angel hair pasta

Instructions

  • Place chicken breasts in the bottom of the crockpot.
  • In a saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter. Add the Italian dressing mix, golden mushroom soup, chicken broth, and cream cheese. Stir until the mixture is smooth and creamy.
  • Pour the sauce over the chicken in the crockpot.
  • Cover and cook on low for 4-5 hours or until the chicken is tender and fully cooked.
  • Cook the angel hair pasta according to package instructions. Drain.

 

  • Serve the chicken and sauce over the cooked angel hair pasta.

Notes

  • For a thicker sauce, you can add a bit of extra cream cheese or a small amount of flour to thicken it up before serving.

 

  • You can switch out the angel hair pasta for another type of pasta, such as spaghetti or fettuccine.
