Ingredients

- 2 cups cooked mac and cheese (chilled)
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 eggs (beaten)
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese (grated)
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 tsp paprika
- Oil for frying
Instructions
- Scoop chilled mac and cheese into small balls and place them on a lined baking sheet. Freeze for 30 minutes.
- In a bowl, mix breadcrumbs, Parmesan, salt, black pepper, and paprika.
- Dredge each mac and cheese ball in flour, dip in the beaten eggs, then coat with the breadcrumb mixture.
- Heat oil to 350°F (175°C) in a frying pan.
- Fry the mac and cheese balls until golden brown, about 2-3 minutes.
- Drain on paper towels and serve warm.
Notes
- For extra flavor, you can add a little garlic powder or onion powder to the breadcrumb mixture.
- Make sure the mac and cheese is chilled before forming the balls to prevent them from falling apart while frying.
