Description

Cheeseburger Tater Tot Nachos are a fun and indulgent twist on classic nachos, combining crispy potato puffs, seasoned ground beef, cheese, and tangy toppings with a zesty homemade secret sauce.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb (453g) Simply Nature 93% Lean Organic Grass Fed Ground Beef
  • 1 ½ tsp garlic powder
  • 1 ½ tsp onion powder
  • 1 ½ tsp kosher salt
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • ¼ tsp cayenne pepper
  • 1 lb (453g) Season’s Choice Potato Puffs (cooked according to package)
  • 3 cups (8 oz/246g) Happy Farms Finely Shredded Sharp Cheddar Cheese
  • 1 ½ cup (8 oz/220g) diced tomatoes
  • 1 cup (4 oz/115g) sliced pickles
  • 1 ½ cup (3 oz/85g) shredded lettuce
  • 1 cup secret sauce
  • Secret Sauce:
  • ½ cup mayonnaise
  • 3 tbsp ketchup
  • 2 tbsp Sriracha
  • 2 tsp sugar
  • 1 tsp distilled white vinegar

Instructions

  1. Make the secret sauce: In a small bowl, mix mayonnaise, ketchup, Sriracha, sugar, and vinegar until well combined. Set aside.
  2. Prepare the beef: Heat oil in a medium skillet over medium-high heat. Add ground beef, breaking it into small pieces. Cook until browned and cooked through, about 4 minutes. Season with garlic powder, onion powder, kosher salt, black pepper, and cayenne pepper. Stir to combine. Set aside.
  3. Cook the potato puffs according to package instructions.
  4. Assemble the nachos: In a large mixing bowl, combine cooked potato puffs, seasoned beef, 2 cups of shredded cheese, pickles, and diced tomatoes. Mix gently to combine.
  5. Transfer the mixture onto a baking sheet, spreading it evenly. Top with remaining 1 cup of cheese.
  6. Bake in a preheated oven at 375°F (190°C) for 15 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  7. Remove from oven. Drizzle with secret sauce and top with shredded lettuce.
  8. Serve immediately and enjoy!

Notes

  • Adjust the spice level of the secret sauce by reducing or increasing the amount of Sriracha.
  • For extra crunch, add crispy fried onions on top before serving.
  • Use a parchment-lined baking sheet for easier cleanup.
