Ingredients

Scale
  1. 2 large russet potatoes (or Yukon Gold)
  2. 2 tbsp olive oil
  3. ½ tsp salt
  4. ½ tsp black pepper
  5. ½ tsp garlic powder
  6. ½ tsp paprika (optional, for extra flavor)
  7. 2 tbsp butter, melted
  8. 2 cloves garlic, minced
  9. ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  10. 1 tbsp chopped parsley (for garnish)

Instructions

  • Prep the Potatoes:
Wash and peel (optional) the potatoes, then cut them into ¼-inch thick fries.
Soak the fries in cold water for 30 minutes to remove excess starch (this makes them crispier).
Drain and pat dry with a towel.

  • Season the Fries:
Toss the fries with olive oil, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika.

  • Air Fry:
Preheat air fryer to 380°F (193°C).
Place fries in a single layer in the air fryer basket (cook in batches if needed).
Air fry for 15-18 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through, until fries are golden and crispy.

  • Add Garlic Butter & Parmesan:
While fries are cooking, mix melted butter and minced garlic in a small bowl.
When fries are done, toss them with garlic butter and Parmesan cheese.

  • Serve & Enjoy!
Garnish with chopped parsley, serve hot, and enjoy your crispy, cheesy garlic fries!

Notes

  • Soaking the fries helps to remove excess starch and makes them crispier.
  • You can adjust the seasonings to your taste preference.
