Ingredients
- 2 large russet potatoes (or Yukon Gold)
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- ½ tsp salt
- ½ tsp black pepper
- ½ tsp garlic powder
- ½ tsp paprika (optional, for extra flavor)
- 2 tbsp butter, melted
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tbsp chopped parsley (for garnish)
Instructions
-
Prep the Potatoes:
Wash and peel (optional) the potatoes, then cut them into ¼-inch thick fries.
Soak the fries in cold water for 30 minutes to remove excess starch (this makes them crispier).
Drain and pat dry with a towel. -
Season the Fries:
Toss the fries with olive oil, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika. -
Air Fry:
Preheat air fryer to 380°F (193°C).
Place fries in a single layer in the air fryer basket (cook in batches if needed).
Air fry for 15-18 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through, until fries are golden and crispy. -
Add Garlic Butter & Parmesan:
While fries are cooking, mix melted butter and minced garlic in a small bowl.
When fries are done, toss them with garlic butter and Parmesan cheese. -
Serve & Enjoy!
Garnish with chopped parsley, serve hot, and enjoy your crispy, cheesy garlic fries!
Notes
- Soaking the fries helps to remove excess starch and makes them crispier.
- You can adjust the seasonings to your taste preference.
