Description
Chicken Alfredo Garlic Bread Bowls are a cozy, indulgent meal featuring creamy Alfredo chicken served inside crispy, toasted bread bowls for a perfect blend of comfort and flavor.
Ingredients
Scale
- 4 large bread bowls (or small round loaves of bread)
- 2 tbsp butter
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cooked and diced
- 2 cups heavy cream
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Cut the tops off the bread bowls and hollow them out, leaving about a 1-inch border.
- Place the empty bread bowls on a baking sheet and toast in the oven for 5–7 minutes until slightly crispy.
- In a large skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add minced garlic and cook for 1–2 minutes until fragrant.
- Stir in heavy cream and bring to a simmer. Add Parmesan and mozzarella cheeses, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Stir until the sauce thickens and the cheese melts, about 5–7 minutes.
- Add the diced chicken to the sauce and stir to coat. Let it simmer for another 2–3 minutes.
- Spoon the creamy chicken Alfredo mixture into the toasted bread bowls, filling each generously.
- Garnish with chopped fresh parsley and serve hot.
Notes
- You can substitute rotisserie chicken for a quicker option.
- Use leftover bread insides for croutons or breadcrumbs.
- Add steamed broccoli or spinach for extra veggies.
