Ingredients

Scale
  1. For the Alfredo Sauce:

    • 2 tbsp butter
    • 2 tbsp olive oil
    • 4 cloves garlic, minced
    • 1 ½ cups heavy cream
    • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
    • ½ tsp salt (adjust to taste)
    • ½ tsp black pepper
    • ½ tsp garlic powder
    • ¼ tsp red pepper flakes (optional, for heat)

    For the Shrimp & Pasta:

    1. 12 oz fettuccine (or pasta of choice)
    2. 1 lb shrimp (peeled, deveined)
    3. 1 tbsp butter
    4. ½ tsp salt
    5. ½ tsp black pepper
    6. ½ tsp paprika
    7. 2 cups broccoli florets

Instructions

  • Cook the Pasta & Broccoli:
Boil a large pot of salted water and cook fettuccine according to package instructions. In the last 3 minutes of boiling, add broccoli florets to the same pot. Drain pasta and broccoli, reserving ½ cup pasta water, and set aside.

  • Cook the Shrimp:
In a large skillet, melt 1 tbsp butter over medium-high heat. Season shrimp with salt, pepper, and paprika, then cook for 1-2 minutes per side, until pink and opaque. Remove from skillet and set aside.

  • Make the Alfredo Sauce:
In the same skillet, melt 2 tbsp butter and 2 tbsp olive oil over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for 30 seconds, until fragrant. Pour in heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer. Stir in Parmesan cheese, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and red pepper flakes (if using). Simmer for 2-3 minutes, stirring until smooth.

  • Combine Everything:
Add cooked pasta, broccoli, and shrimp to the Alfredo sauce. Toss to coat, adding reserved pasta water a little at a time if the sauce is too thick. Cook for 1-2 more minutes, letting the flavors meld.

  • Serve & Enjoy!
Plate the creamy shrimp Alfredo, garnish with extra Parmesan cheese and fresh parsley, and serve hot!

Notes

  • You can substitute fettuccine with any pasta of your choice (e.g., penne or spaghetti).
  • For added creaminess, you can stir in a little extra Parmesan cheese or heavy cream.
  • You can also add more vegetables like spinach or mushrooms for added flavor.
