This Creamy Beef and Bowtie Pasta combines hearty ground beef, tender bowtie pasta, and a creamy, cheesy sauce for a satisfying and comforting meal. Perfect for busy weeknights, it’s rich in flavor and easy to prepare!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • ½ medium onion, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 3 cups beef broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 2 cups bowtie pasta (farfalle)
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese (or cheese of choice)
  • 1 tsp paprika (optional, for added flavor)

Instructions

  • Cook Ground Beef
In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef along with diced onion and minced garlic until the beef is browned and the onions are softened. Drain any excess fat. Season with salt, pepper, and paprika (if using).
  • Add Broth and Pasta
Pour in the beef broth and heavy cream, stirring to combine. Add the bowtie pasta to the skillet and bring the mixture to a simmer.
  • Cook Pasta
Cover and cook for 10-12 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the pasta is al dente and most of the liquid is absorbed.
  • Add Cheese
Reduce heat to low, stir in the shredded cheese, and mix until the cheese is fully melted and the sauce becomes creamy. Adjust seasoning as needed.
  • Serve
Serve the pasta hot, garnished with extra cheese or fresh parsley if desired. Enjoy your creamy, comforting dish!

Notes

  • For extra flavor, sprinkle some crushed red pepper flakes for a hint of heat.
  • You can substitute ground beef with ground turkey or chicken for a leaner option.
  • This dish pairs well with a side salad or garlic bread.
