Ingredients

Scale
  1. 1 pound ground beef
  2. 1 small head of green cabbage, chopped
  3. 1 medium onion, diced
  4. 2 cloves garlic, minced
  5. 1 cup heavy cream
  6. 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  7. 1 teaspoon paprika
  8. 1 teaspoon salt
  9. 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  10. 2 tablespoons olive oil
  11. 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the diced onion and minced garlic, sautéing until the onion is translucent.
  • Add the ground beef, cooking until browned. Drain excess fat if necessary.
  • Stir in the chopped cabbage, cooking until it begins to soften, about 5-7 minutes.
  • Pour in the heavy cream, and stir in paprika, salt, and black pepper. Let simmer for another 5 minutes.
  • Transfer the mixture to a greased 9×13 inch baking dish. Top with shredded cheddar cheese and sprinkle with grated Parmesan cheese.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden brown.

  • Let the casserole cool for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

  • You can substitute ground turkey or chicken for the ground beef for a lighter version.

  • To make the dish spicier, add a pinch of cayenne pepper or red pepper flakes.
