- 1 package Cheddar Bay Biscuit Mix
- 1 tsp garlic
- 1 tsp Italian Seasoning
For the Crab Filling: - 1 lb lump crab meat, fully cooked
- ¼ tsp paprika
- ½ tsp onion powder
- ½+ cup mayonnaise
- 1 tbsp mustard
- ½ sleeve Ritz crackers, crushed
- 1 cup grated parmesan cheese
Instructions
- Make the Cheddar Bay biscuit mix according to the package instructions, then set aside.
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Spray two muffin tins with nonstick spray.
- In a bowl, combine the crab meat, paprika, onion powder, mustard, mayonnaise, and crushed Ritz crackers. Stir until well combined, adding a little more mayonnaise if needed for moisture.
- Dust your hands with flour, then scoop some of the biscuit dough and shape it into a cup-like form.
- Place a scoop of the crab mixture into the middle of the biscuit dough.
- Cover the crab mixture with a bit more biscuit dough.
- Place each stuffed biscuit into a muffin tin.
- Bake for 12 to 15 minutes, or until golden brown.
- Brush with melted butter and 1 tsp of lemon juice before serving.
Notes
- You can use fresh or canned crab meat, but make sure it’s fully cooked.
- For extra flavor, try adding a pinch of cayenne or hot sauce to the crab mixture for some heat.
- These biscuits are best served fresh but can be reheated in the oven if needed.
