- 1 onion, grated
- 1 cup quick oats
- ½ cup milk
- 2 eggs
- 1 tsp kosher salt
- ½ tsp black pepper
- 2 tsp soy sauce (gluten-free if needed)
- 2 lbs ground beef (preferably 80/20)
- Ketchup or barbecue sauce for topping (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a large bowl, combine grated onion, oats, milk, eggs, salt, pepper, soy sauce, and ground beef. Mix until just combined.
- Divide mixture into individual mini loaf pans or shape into mini loaves on a baking sheet.
- If desired, spread ketchup or barbecue sauce on top.
- Bake for 30–35 minutes, until cooked through.
- Let rest a few minutes before serving.
