A healthier take on the classic buffalo chicken dip, using cottage cheese for added protein and creaminess. Perfect for parties, game days, or just a delicious snack

- 2 cups shredded cooked chicken (such as rotisserie chicken)
- 8 ounces cottage cheese
- 1/2 cup Frank’s RedHot Original Hot Sauce
- 1/2 cup ranch dressing
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- Optional toppings: sour cream, chives, feta cheese
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a food processor or blender, puree the cottage cheese until smooth.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the pureed cottage cheese, shredded chicken, hot sauce, ranch dressing, and half of the shredded cheddar cheese. Mix until well combined.
- Transfer the mixture into a cast iron skillet or baking dish, spreading it evenly.
- Sprinkle the remaining shredded cheddar cheese on top.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 25 minutes, or until the dip is heated through and the cheese on top is melted and bubbly.
- For a golden crust on top, place the dish under the broiler for an additional 5 minutes, watching closely to prevent burning.
- Remove from the oven and, if desired, garnish with a drizzle of sour cream, chopped chives, and crumbled feta cheese.
- Serve warm with tortilla chips, crackers, or cut-up vegetables.
Notes
- For a spicier dip, you can add more hot sauce to taste.
- This dip can be served with fresh veggies for a lower-carb option.
