These delicious no-bake Cookie Dough Bites are made with heat-treated flour, rich butter, brown sugar, and plenty of dark chocolate chips. Perfect for satisfying your cookie dough cravings!
Ingredients
-
1¾ cups all-purpose flour (spooned and leveled)
-
¾ cup (1 ½ sticks) salted butter, softened
-
¾ cup light brown sugar
-
¼ cup powdered sugar
-
2 tablespoons whole milk
-
1½ teaspoons vanilla extract
-
1 cup dark chocolate chips
Instructions
-
Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and spread the flour out on a large sheet pan.
-
Bake the flour in the oven for 5 minutes to heat treat it.
-
Remove the pan with the flour from the oven and set it aside to cool for about 10 minutes.
-
While the flour is cooling, make the dough by beating the salted butter and light brown sugar together in a large bowl until creamy, about 1 minute.
-
Gradually beat in the powdered sugar at the lowest mixer setting until combined, about 1 minute, until light and fluffy.
-
Mix in the whole milk and vanilla extract until fully incorporated, about 30 seconds.
-
Once the flour has cooled, beat it into the dough until combined, about 30 seconds to 1 minute.
-
Fold in the dark chocolate chips.
-
Use a 1½-inch cookie scoop to scoop dough into balls.
-
Roll each dough ball in your hands to smooth it out and place on a plate or sheet pan.
-
Refrigerate the cookie dough bites for 30 minutes to set.
-
Serve cold and enjoy!
Notes
-
You can refrigerate the cookie dough bites for up to 2 weeks if they last that long!
-
For extra flavor, feel free to add some mini chocolate chips or a pinch of sea salt on top before refrigerating.
