These Cinnamon Sugar Pretzel Sticks are the perfect sweet and salty snack for any occasion! Coated in a buttery cinnamon sugar mixture and baked until crispy, these pretzel sticks are irresistible and easy to make.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 bag (12 ounces) thick pretzel sticks
  • ½ cup butter, melted and cooled slightly
  • 1 egg white
  • 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Melt the butter in a microwave-safe bowl on medium/low power, then let it cool slightly.
  • Separate the egg white and yolk. Whisk the egg white and vanilla extract into the cooled butter. Set aside.
  • In a separate bowl, mix the sugar and cinnamon together until evenly combined.
  • Place the pretzel sticks in a one-gallon zip-top bag. Pour the butter mixture over them. Gently shake and mix to coat all the pretzels.
  • Add the cinnamon sugar mixture to the bag. Shake and mix gently to coat the pretzels evenly.
  • Spread the coated pretzels in an even layer on the prepared baking sheet. Bake for 15 minutes, stirring once halfway through baking.
  • Remove the pretzels from the oven and stir immediately to prevent sticking. Let them cool completely before serving.

Notes

  • Let the pretzels cool completely to allow the coating to set and crisp up.
  • Store any leftovers in an airtight container to maintain freshness.
  • For a variation, you can drizzle chocolate over the pretzels once they cool for an extra indulgent treat.
