Ingredients
Scale
1 can (8 oz) refrigerated crescent roll dough
2 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
1/4 cup granulated sugar
1 tsp ground cinnamon
1/4 cup powdered sugar
1 tbsp milk (for icing)
1/2 tsp vanilla extract (for icing)
Instructions
Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and lightly grease a baking sheet or pizza pan.
Roll Out the Dough: Unroll the crescent roll dough and press it onto the prepared baking sheet to form a large rectangle or circle. Pinch the seams together to create a smooth crust.
Add the Cinnamon-Sugar Topping: Brush the melted butter evenly over the crescent roll dough. In a small bowl, mix together the granulated sugar and cinnamon, then sprinkle the mixture generously over the buttered dough.
Bake the Pizza: Bake the cinnamon-sugar pizza for 10-12 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown and crispy.
Make the Icing: While the pizza is baking, whisk together the powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla extract in a small bowl until smooth and creamy.
Drizzle and Serve: Once the pizza is out of the oven, drizzle the icing over the top in zigzag patterns or swirl designs. Let it cool slightly before slicing and serving.
Notes
For a more intense cinnamon flavor, you can increase the cinnamon to 1 ½ tsp.
If you prefer, you can also add chopped nuts or fruit for an extra twist.
