Description

These Chocolate Peanut Butter Dream Bars are a decadent no-bake dessert with a crunchy chocolate crust, creamy peanut butter layer, and rich chocolate pudding topping. Perfect for satisfying your sweet tooth, this treat is a crowd-pleaser for any occasion!

Ingredients

Scale
  1. For the Crust:

    • 1 package (16 oz) chocolate sandwich cookies, crushed
    • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted

    For the Peanut Butter Layer:

    • 1 cup creamy peanut butter
    • 1 package (8 oz) cream cheese, softened
    • 1 cup powdered sugar
    • 1 container (8 oz) whipped topping, thawed

    For the Chocolate Layer:

    • 1 package (3.9 oz) instant chocolate pudding mix
    • 1 1/2 cups milk

    For Garnish:

    1. Additional whipped topping
    2. Chocolate curls

Instructions

  • Prepare the Crust: In a medium bowl, mix the crushed chocolate sandwich cookies with melted butter. Press the mixture into the bottom of a 9×13-inch baking dish to form a firm crust. Refrigerate while you prepare the next layer.
  • Make the Peanut Butter Layer: In a large bowl, beat together the peanut butter, cream cheese, and powdered sugar until smooth. Gently fold in the whipped topping. Spread this mixture evenly over the chilled crust and return to the refrigerator.
  • Prepare the Chocolate Pudding: In another bowl, whisk together the chocolate pudding mix and milk until it thickens. Spread the pudding evenly over the peanut butter layer.
  • Chill: Cover and refrigerate the dessert for at least 4 hours, or until fully set.

  • Garnish & Serve: Before serving, spread additional whipped topping over the dessert and sprinkle with chocolate curls for decoration. Slice and enjoy this rich, creamy, and decadent treat!

Notes

  • You can use sugar-free pudding mix for a lighter option.
  • For extra flavor, add a drizzle of chocolate or peanut butter on top.
  • If you prefer, you can use homemade whipped cream instead of store-bought whipped topping.

  • Make sure the dessert is fully chilled before serving for the best texture.
