This Chicken & Stuffing Casserole is the ultimate comfort food, packed with tender rotisserie chicken, creamy sauce, and a crispy stuffing topping. It’s an easy, flavorful dinner recipe perfect for busy nights!

  1. 4 cups rotisserie chicken, shredded

  2. Two 10 ½-oz cans cream of chicken soup

  3. ½ tsp dried thyme

  4. 1 cup milk

  5. 1 stick butter, melted

  6. One 8-oz package (~3 ¾ cups) dry stuffing mix

  7. 1 cup canned fried onions

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13-inch casserole dish.

  • In a large bowl, mix the shredded chicken, cream of chicken soup, thyme, and milk. Pour into the prepared dish.

  • In another bowl, mix melted butter and stuffing mix until well coated. Spread over the chicken mixture.

  • Sprinkle fried onions evenly on top.

  • Cover with foil and bake for 20 minutes.

  • Remove foil and bake for 10 more minutes, until the top is golden brown.

 

  • Serve warm and enjoy!

Notes

  • You can substitute homemade or low-sodium cream of chicken soup for a healthier option.

  • For added flavor, mix in some grated cheese or a dash of garlic powder with the stuffing mixture.
