This Chicken & Stuffing Casserole is the ultimate comfort food, packed with tender rotisserie chicken, creamy sauce, and a crispy stuffing topping. It’s an easy, flavorful dinner recipe perfect for busy nights!
4 cups rotisserie chicken, shredded
Two 10 ½-oz cans cream of chicken soup
½ tsp dried thyme
1 cup milk
1 stick butter, melted
One 8-oz package (~3 ¾ cups) dry stuffing mix
1 cup canned fried onions
Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13-inch casserole dish.
In a large bowl, mix the shredded chicken, cream of chicken soup, thyme, and milk. Pour into the prepared dish.
In another bowl, mix melted butter and stuffing mix until well coated. Spread over the chicken mixture.
Sprinkle fried onions evenly on top.
Cover with foil and bake for 20 minutes.
Remove foil and bake for 10 more minutes, until the top is golden brown.
