Ingredients
Scale
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 packet taco seasoning
- 1 cup (115g) shredded cheese (cheddar or Mexican blend)
- 1 small onion, diced
- ½ cup (120ml) salsa
- 1 package refrigerated crescent rolls
- Cooking spray
- Optional add-ins: Sliced jalapeños, diced bell peppers, black olives, extra cheese
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it with cooking spray.
- In a skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef and diced onion until fully cooked. Drain any excess fat.
- Stir in taco seasoning and salsa, mixing until well combined.
- Unroll the crescent dough and separate it into rectangles by pressing two triangles together.
- Spoon a bit of the taco filling onto each rectangle, sprinkle with cheese, and roll up the dough. Pinch the edges to seal.
- Place the assembled taco sticks on your baking sheet, spray lightly with cooking spray, and bake for 12–15 minutes until crisp and golden brown.
Notes
- Feel free to customize the filling with your favorite taco toppings like sliced jalapeños, diced bell peppers, or black olives.
- Adding extra cheese inside the taco stick makes them even more cheesy and delicious!
- Ensure the edges are tightly sealed so the filling doesn’t leak out during baking.
