Description

These Cheesy Supreme Pizza Rolls are the ultimate crowd-pleaser! Packed with savory pepperoni, Italian sausage, melty mozzarella, and zesty marinara, they’re the perfect appetizer or fun side for pizza night. Rolled like cinnamon buns, baked golden in a skillet, and topped with a sprinkle of Parmesan, they’re a must-try for anyone who loves quick and easy dinner recipes with cheesy comfort food

Ingredients

Scale

1 pound pizza dough, thawed if frozen (or half a homemade pizza dough recipe)
1/2 cup marinara sauce
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese, divided
1/81/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
1 cup chopped pepperoni (about 35 slices / 4 oz)
1 cup cooked and crumbled Italian sausage (about 1/4 pound)
1/3 cup finely diced green bell pepper
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
Minced fresh parsley, for garnish

Instructions

Preheat oven to 400°F. Coat a 9-inch cast iron skillet or oven-safe round baking pan with nonstick spray.
Roll out pizza dough on a lightly floured surface into a 16×10-inch rectangle.
Brush with marinara sauce, leaving a 1/2-inch border.
Sprinkle with 1/2 cup mozzarella, red pepper flakes, chopped pepperoni, sausage, green bell pepper, and Parmesan.
Roll up jelly-roll style from the long side. Pinch the seam to seal.
Cut into 8 even slices.
Arrange rolls cut side down in skillet, leaving space between them.
Bake for 25 minutes, then top with the remaining 1/2 cup mozzarella cheese.
Bake an additional 5–10 minutes, until golden brown and cooked through.
Garnish with chopped parsley and serve warm.

Notes

You can use homemade pizza dough or store-bought, depending on your preference.
For extra spice, add more crushed red pepper flakes or a drizzle of hot sauce before serving.
These pizza rolls can be frozen before baking for a make-ahead meal—just bake straight from the freezer for an additional 5–10 minutes.
