Description

A rich and creamy one-skillet Cheesy Garlic Parmesan Chicken Pasta that’s packed with flavor and made with tender chicken, melty cheeses, and comforting pasta.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 cups chicken broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 ½ cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 8 ounces penne pasta (or your favorite pasta)
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  2. Season chicken pieces with salt, pepper, paprika, and garlic powder.
  3. Add the chicken to the skillet and cook until browned and cooked through, about 5–7 minutes. Remove and set aside.
  4. In the same skillet, add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute.
  5. Add chicken broth and heavy cream to the skillet, stirring to deglaze the bottom.
  6. Bring to a simmer and add uncooked pasta. Stir well to combine.
  7. Cover and cook over medium-low heat, stirring occasionally, until the pasta is al dente and liquid is mostly absorbed (about 12–15 minutes).
  8. Stir in mozzarella cheese and Parmesan cheese until melted and creamy.
  9. Return the cooked chicken to the skillet, tossing to coat in the cheesy sauce.
  10. Sprinkle with chopped parsley and serve hot.

Notes

  • You can substitute penne with any pasta of your choice.
  • For extra flavor, add a pinch of red pepper flakes.
  • Adjust cheese quantities to your preference for a thicker or thinner sauce.
