- 1/2 cup beef broth

Instructions
- Cook the Pasta: Cook penne pasta in salted boiling water until al dente; drain and set aside.
- Cook the Beef: In a large skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add ground beef and cook until browned. Season with salt, pepper, Italian seasoning, and red pepper flakes if using.
- Add Garlic & Onion: Add minced garlic and chopped onion to the skillet; sauté until softened.
