    • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
    • Salt and pepper, to taste
    • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
    • 1 teaspoon onion powder
    • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
    • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  2. For the Garlic Butter Sauce:

    1. 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
    2. 4 cloves garlic, minced
    3. 1/2 cup chicken broth (or white wine for extra flavor)
    4. 1/2 cup heavy cream
    5. 1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
    6. 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
    7. 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped (plus extra for garnish)

Instructions

  • Prepare the Chicken:
    Season the chicken breasts with salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and Italian seasoning.
    Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
    Sear the chicken for about 5–7 minutes per side until golden brown and cooked through (internal temperature of 165°F/75°C).
    Transfer the chicken to a plate and set aside.

  • Make the Garlic Butter Sauce:
    In the same skillet, lower the heat to medium and add the butter.
    Once melted, sauté the minced garlic for 1–2 minutes until fragrant (do not let it burn).
    Pour in the chicken broth and let it simmer for 2 minutes.
    Stir in the heavy cream and bring the sauce to a gentle simmer for 3–4 minutes, allowing it to thicken slightly.
    Gradually add the mozzarella and Parmesan cheeses, stirring until melted and the sauce is smooth.
    Adjust seasoning with salt and pepper if needed.

  • Combine and Heat Through:
    Return the seared chicken to the skillet, spooning the rich cheesy sauce over the top.
    Let the chicken simmer in the sauce for an additional 2–3 minutes so it absorbs the flavors.
    Garnish with fresh parsley.
