A hearty and comforting baked casserole combining seasoned ground beef, chili spices, tomato sauce, elbow macaroni, and melted cheddar cheese for a delicious one-dish meal.

- 1 lb ground beef
- 2 cups cooked elbow macaroni
- 1 cup tomato sauce
- 1/2 cup beef broth
- 1 tbsp mustard
- 1 tbsp chili powder
- 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- Optional: crushed crackers or crispy onions for topping
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until browned, about 6–8 minutes. Drain excess fat.
- Add tomato sauce, beef broth, mustard, and chili powder to the skillet. Stir to combine and simmer for 5–10 minutes.
- Turn off heat and fold in cooked elbow macaroni and half of the shredded cheddar cheese.
- Transfer the mixture into a greased 9×13-inch baking dish and spread it evenly.
- Top with the remaining cheese and optional crushed crackers or crispy onions.
- Bake for 20–25 minutes until bubbly and golden.
- Let cool for a few minutes before serving.
Notes
- Substitute ground turkey for a lighter version.
- Try adding diced onions or bell peppers with the beef for extra flavor.
- Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days.
