Description

A rich and creamy caramel apple fudge with hints of cinnamon, nutmeg, and dried apple slices, finished off with smooth white chocolate and marshmallow cream for a delightful treat.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 3/4 cup unsalted butter
  • 2/3 cup evaporated milk
  • 1 cup apple cider
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 2 cups white chocolate chips
  • 7 ounces marshmallow cream
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup dried apple slices, chopped

Instructions

  1. Line an 8×8-inch baking dish with parchment paper or lightly grease it. Set aside.
  2. In a medium saucepan, combine sugar, brown sugar, butter, evaporated milk, and apple cider. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until the mixture reaches a soft ball stage (approximately 234°F or 112°C on a candy thermometer).
  3. Remove from heat and stir in cinnamon, nutmeg, white chocolate chips, and marshmallow cream until smooth.
  4. Stir in vanilla extract and chopped dried apple slices.
  5. Pour the fudge into the prepared baking dish and smooth the top with a spatula.
  6. Let the fudge cool to room temperature, then refrigerate for at least 2 hours or until firm.
  7. Once set, cut the fudge into small squares and enjoy the sweet and tangy flavors.

Notes

  • If you want a firmer fudge, refrigerate it for a bit longer than 2 hours.
  • This fudge is perfect for fall or holiday gatherings and can be stored in an airtight container for up to a week.
  • For a fun twist, you can sprinkle some additional cinnamon or chopped apple slices on top before refrigerating.
