- 2 cans (17.5 oz) deluxe cinnamon rolls, quartered (icing reserved)
- 2 cans (21 oz) apple pie filling
- ½ cup caramel sauce + extra for drizzle
- 1 box (15.25 oz) spice cake mix
- ¾ cup salted butter, sliced
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Spray a 9×13-inch baking dish with cooking spray.
- Spread the apple pie filling evenly in the baking dish.
- Scatter the quartered cinnamon roll pieces over the apple pie filling.
- Drizzle ½ cup of caramel sauce over the cinnamon roll pieces.
- Evenly sprinkle the dry cake mix over the top.
- Place the sliced butter on top of the cake mix.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 45 minutes, or until the cake is deep golden brown.
- Allow the cake to cool for 10 minutes after baking.
- Warm the reserved icing from the cinnamon rolls and drizzle it over the cake.
- Drizzle extra caramel sauce on top before serving.
Notes
- For an extra boost of flavor, add a pinch of cinnamon to the cake mix before sprinkling it on.
- This dish is best served warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream or whipped cream on the side.
- Can be made ahead of time and stored in the fridge; reheat before serving for best results.
