Description

Boozy Cherry Bombs (minus the booze!) are fun, festive treats made with maraschino cherries dipped in fizzy cherry gelatin and creamy white chocolate, then topped with colorful sprinkles—perfect for parties and celebrations.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 jar (16 oz) maraschino cherries with stems, drained
  • 1 box (3 oz) cherry-flavored gelatin (like Jell-O)
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1/2 cup lemon-lime soda (like Sprite or 7Up)
  • 1/4 cup sweetened condensed milk (optional, for a creamy twist)
  • 1 cup white chocolate chips (or almond bark)
  • Red, white, and blue sprinkles (or any fun colors you love!)

Instructions

  1. Drain maraschino cherries well and pat them dry with paper towels.
  2. In a small saucepan, bring 1/2 cup water to a boil. Remove from heat and stir in cherry gelatin until dissolved.
  3. Stir in 1/2 cup lemon-lime soda. For a creamy variation, whisk in 1/4 cup sweetened condensed milk.
  4. Hold each cherry by the stem and dip into the gelatin mixture to coat. Place on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  5. Refrigerate cherries for 15–20 minutes or until gelatin is set.
  6. Melt white chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl in 30-second intervals, stirring until smooth.
  7. Dip each cherry halfway into melted white chocolate, then immediately add sprinkles before the chocolate hardens.
  8. Return cherries to parchment and chill for another 15 minutes until chocolate is firm.

Notes

  • Be sure cherries are fully dried before dipping to help gelatin and chocolate adhere properly.
  • Swap out sprinkle colors to match any holiday or party theme.
  • Add condensed milk to the gelatin for a smoother, creamy layer.
