Ingredients

Scale
  1. 1 cup rolled oats
  2. 1 cup milk (dairy or non-dairy)
  3. 1/2 cup Greek yogurt (or your favorite yogurt)
  4. 1 tablespoon chia seeds (optional)
  5. 2 tablespoons maple syrup (or honey, to taste)
  6. 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  7. 1 cup fresh or frozen blueberries
  8. 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  9. Pinch of salt

Instructions

  • Combine Ingredients:
In a large bowl or a mason jar, combine the rolled oats, milk, Greek yogurt, chia seeds (if using), maple syrup, vanilla extract, blueberries, ground cinnamon, and a pinch of salt.
  • Mix Well:
Stir the mixture thoroughly until everything is well combined.
  • Refrigerate:
Cover the bowl or jar and refrigerate overnight (or at least 4-6 hours) to allow the oats to absorb the liquid and soften.
  • Serve:
In the morning, give the oats a good stir. You can add a little more milk if you prefer a thinner consistency. Top with additional blueberries, a sprinkle of cinnamon, or a dollop of yogurt if desired.

Notes

  • You can adjust the sweetness by adding more maple syrup or honey if needed.
  • For a vegan option, use non-dairy yogurt and milk.
  • You can top with crushed nuts or granola for added crunch.
