This Blueberry Feta & Honey-Caramelized Onion Naan Pizza is a perfect blend of sweet and savory flavors! Topped with creamy ricotta, tangy feta, caramelized onions, and juicy blueberries, this unique pizza is easy to make and incredibly delicious

Ingredients

Scale
  1. 2 naan flatbreads
  2. 1 teaspoon olive oil
  3. 1 cup thinly sliced red onion
  4. Kosher salt, to taste
  5. Pinch of red pepper flakes
  6. 2 tablespoons honey
  7. 1/2 cup ricotta cheese
  8. 1/2 cup feta cheese
  9. 1 cup blueberries
  10. Micro arugula or baby arugula, for garnish

Instructions

  • Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Place the naan flatbreads on the sheet and lightly brush or spray them with water. Set aside.
  • Caramelize the Onions: Heat olive oil in a pan over medium-low heat. Add the sliced red onion and season with a pinch of kosher salt and red pepper flakes. Cook for 3-5 minutes until softened. Stir in the honey and let the onions caramelize for another 5 minutes, stirring occasionally. Remove from heat.
  • Prepare the Cheese Mixture: In a small bowl, combine ricotta cheese and feta cheese. Stir until smooth and well-mixed.
  • Assemble the Pizza: Spread the cheese mixture evenly over each naan. Top with the honey-caramelized onions and scatter the blueberries over the top.
  • Bake: Place the naan pizzas in the oven and bake for about 10 minutes, or until the cheese is softened, the blueberries begin to burst, and the naan is toasted.
  • Finish and Serve: Remove from the oven, sprinkle with fresh arugula, and serve immediately.

Notes

  • You can use other soft cheeses like goat cheese or cream cheese instead of ricotta for a different flavor.
  • For a more intense caramelized onion flavor, cook the onions on low heat for a longer time.
  • If you like a bit of heat, feel free to add extra red pepper flakes.
