- 1 cup (150g) uncooked elbow macaroni
- 1 jar (24 oz / 680g) marinara sauce
- 1 cup (100g) shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup (50g) grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/2 cup (75g) chopped onion
- 1/2 cup (75g) chopped bell pepper
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
- Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Cook the Beef: In a skillet, cook ground beef with onion, bell pepper, and garlic over medium heat until the beef is browned.
- Simmer the Sauce: Stir in marinara sauce, oregano, salt, and black pepper. Let it simmer for 5 minutes.
- Cook the Pasta: Cook elbow macaroni according to package instructions, then drain and add to the beef mixture.
- Assemble the Casserole: Pour the beef and pasta mixture into a baking dish. Top with shredded mozzarella and grated Parmesan cheeses.
- Bake: Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
