Ingredients

Scale
  1. 1 tablespoon olive oil
  2. 1 pound ground beef
  3. 1 onion, chopped
  4. 2 carrots, shredded
  5. 1/2 head of cabbage, shredded
  6. 1/4 cup soy sauce
  7. 2 tablespoons rice vinegar
  8. 1 tablespoon honey
  9. 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  10. 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  11. 1/4 teaspoon ginger powder
  12. Green onions, chopped (for garnish)
  13. Sesame seeds (for garnish)

Instructions

  • Brown ground beef: Heat olive oil in a large skillet or wok over medium heat. Add ground beef and cook until browned, breaking it up with a spoon as it cooks.
  • Sauté vegetables: Add onion, carrots, and cabbage to the skillet and cook until softened, about 5 minutes.
  • Combine ingredients: Add soy sauce, rice vinegar, honey, sesame oil, garlic powder, and ginger powder to the skillet. Stir to combine and cook for 1 minute more.
  • Serve: Serve immediately, garnished with green onions and sesame seeds.

Notes

  • You can add other vegetables such as bell peppers, mushrooms, or water chestnuts for extra flavor and texture.
  • For a spicier version, consider adding red pepper flakes or sriracha sauce.
  • Serve this stir fry over rice or noodles for a more filling meal.
  • You can use ground chicken or turkey instead of ground beef for a lighter option
