Ingredients

1 lb beef (sirloin, flank steak, or other tender cut), thinly sliced

½ head cabbage, chopped into 1-inch pieces

1 small onion, sliced

3 cloves garlic, minced

1 tbsp vegetable oil or sesame oil

3 tbsp soy sauce, divided

1 tbsp oyster sauce

1 tbsp cornstarch

1 tsp sesame oil

Salt and pepper, to taste
Instructions

Marinate the Beef:
In a bowl, combine the beef, 1 tbsp soy sauce, sesame oil, and cornstarch. Mix well and let marinate for 15 minutes. -
Cook the Beef:
Heat vegetable oil in a wok or skillet over medium-high heat. Add the beef and stir-fry until browned, about 2-3 minutes. Remove from the pan and set aside. -
Cook the Vegetables:
In the same pan, add onion and garlic. Sauté for 1 minute until fragrant. Add the cabbage and stir-fry for 5 minutes, until softened. -
Combine Everything:
Return the beef to the pan. Add remaining soy sauce, oyster sauce, salt, and pepper. Stir-fry for 1-2 minutes until everything is well coated.
