Description

A delicious twist on pizza using Texas Toast, topped with shredded chicken, barbecue sauce, mini mozzarella balls, and red onions, perfect for a quick and tasty meal.


Ingredients

  • 12 packages of Texas Toast
  • 1 ½ cups shredded chicken
  • ½1 cup barbecue sauce
  • 12 tablespoons Italian seasoning
  • 816 mini mozzarella balls
  • 1 small red onion, thinly sliced

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven or air fryer to 425°F.
  2. Line 1-2 baking sheets with parchment paper and arrange 8 slices of Texas Toast on each sheet.
  3. Shred the chicken and mix it with barbecue sauce and Italian seasoning.
  4. Spread about 2 heaping tablespoons of the shredded chicken mixture evenly on each slice of Texas Toast.
  5. Press 1 mini mozzarella ball into the center of the chicken mixture on each slice and top with thinly sliced red onions.
  6. Place the baking sheet on the middle rack of the oven and bake for 8-10 minutes.
  7. Remove from the oven and serve warm.
