Description

This Baked Cajun Shrimp is packed with flavor, thanks to a zesty mix of smoked paprika, cayenne pepper, and garlic. Perfect for a quick weeknight dinner or as a tasty appetizer!


Ingredients

  1. 12 shrimp, peeled, deveined, and cooked
  2. 1 tablespoon canola oil
  3. 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  4. 1 teaspoon onion powder
  5. 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  6. 1 ½ teaspoons salt
  7. ½ teaspoon cayenne pepper
  8. ½ teaspoon thyme leaves
  9. ¼ teaspoon ground oregano

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a cookie sheet with foil and lightly oil the foil with cooking spray.
  • Place the shrimp in a mixing bowl. Add the canola oil to the bowl, cover the top, and gently shake until all the shrimp are coated with the oil.
  • In a small bowl, mix together the smoked paprika, onion powder, garlic powder, salt, cayenne pepper, thyme leaves, and ground oregano.
  • Add the spice mixture to the shrimp bowl. Cover the bowl and gently shake until all the shrimp are evenly coated with the seasonings.
  • Arrange the shrimp in a single layer on the prepared cookie sheet.
  • Bake for 10 minutes.
  • Serve warm with a slice of lemon wedge. Enjoy!

  • Adjust the amount of cayenne pepper to suit your spice preference.
  • For extra flavor, serve with a garlic butter dipping sauce.
