Description

Delightfully crispy and sweet baked apple pie rice paper rolls, combining tender cinnamon-spiced apples wrapped in delicate, golden-crisp rice paper for a unique twist on a classic dessert.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 46 apples
  • ⅓ cup brown sugar
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • Rice paper sheets
  • 2 tbsp cooking oil

Instructions

  1. Peel and slice apples, then mix with brown sugar and cinnamon.
  2. Soak rice paper in water until just pliable (about 10-15 seconds).
  3. Place softened rice paper on a flat surface, add 1-2 tbsp apple mixture to center.
  4. Fold bottom up, then sides in, then top down to seal.
  5. Brush both sides of each roll with cooking oil and place on a baking sheet.
  6. Bake at 450°F for 25-30 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden and crispy.

Notes

  • Use tart apples like Granny Smith for balanced sweetness.
  • Don’t over-soak rice paper to prevent tearing.
  • Brush oil evenly for a crispy finish.
  • Serve warm with ice cream or caramel sauce for extra indulgence.
