  2. 1/2 cup spinach
  3. 1/2 cup artichoke hearts
  4. 2 bagels, halved
  5. 1 cup shredded mozzarella, divided
  6. 1/2 cup freshly grated Parmesan
  7. 1 garlic clove, minced
  8. 1 tbsp chopped parsley, plus more for garnish
  9. 1/2 tsp crushed red pepper flakes, plus more for garnish
  10. Kosher salt
  11. Freshly ground black pepper

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F and prepare a baking tray with parchment paper.
  • In a large bowl, mix softened cream cheese, chopped artichokes, spinach, two-thirds cup of mozzarella, Parmesan, minced garlic, parsley, and red pepper flakes.
  • Season with salt and black pepper, stirring to combine thoroughly.
  • Place the halved bagels on the baking tray, cut side facing up.
  • Spread each bagel with the prepared spinach-artichoke mixture.
  • Sprinkle the remaining mozzarella over the spread on each bagel.
  • Bake for 10-12 minutes, until the cheese is melted and bagels are heated through. Broil for a crispy finish if desired.
  • Garnish with extra parsley and red pepper flakes before serving.
