- 1/2 cup spinach
- 1/2 cup artichoke hearts
- 2 bagels, halved
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella, divided
- 1/2 cup freshly grated Parmesan
- 1 garlic clove, minced
- 1 tbsp chopped parsley, plus more for garnish
- 1/2 tsp crushed red pepper flakes, plus more for garnish
- Kosher salt
- Freshly ground black pepper
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F and prepare a baking tray with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, mix softened cream cheese, chopped artichokes, spinach, two-thirds cup of mozzarella, Parmesan, minced garlic, parsley, and red pepper flakes.
- Season with salt and black pepper, stirring to combine thoroughly.
- Place the halved bagels on the baking tray, cut side facing up.
- Spread each bagel with the prepared spinach-artichoke mixture.
- Sprinkle the remaining mozzarella over the spread on each bagel.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes, until the cheese is melted and bagels are heated through. Broil for a crispy finish if desired.
- Garnish with extra parsley and red pepper flakes before serving.
