Ingredients
Scale
8 oz cream cheese
1/2 cup spinach
1/2 cup artichoke hearts
2 bagels, halved
1 cup shredded mozzarella, divided
1/2 cup freshly grated Parmesan
1 garlic clove, minced
1 tbsp chopped parsley, plus more for garnish
1/2 tsp crushed red pepper flakes, plus more for garnish
Kosher salt
Freshly ground black pepper
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 350°F and prepare a baking tray with parchment paper.
In a large bowl, mix softened cream cheese, chopped artichokes, spinach, two-thirds cup of mozzarella, Parmesan, minced garlic, parsley, and red pepper flakes.
Season with salt and black pepper, stirring to combine thoroughly.
Place the halved bagels on the baking tray, cut side facing up.
Spread each bagel with the prepared spinach-artichoke mixture.
Sprinkle the remaining mozzarella over the spread on each bagel.
Bake for 10-12 minutes, until the cheese is melted and bagels are heated through. Broil for a crispy finish if desired.
Garnish with extra parsley and red pepper flakes before serving.
Notes
You can use store-bought artichoke hearts or make your own for an extra boost of flavor.
If you like a crispier texture, broil the bagels for the last minute of baking.
Feel free to use your favorite bagels—whole wheat, everything, or plain bagels work well.
