Description
These adorable Babybel Bunnies are the perfect addition to your Easter charcuterie board! Made with mini Babybel cheese, bunny-shaped mozzarella ears, and fun, edible details, they are a festive, cheesy treat that both kids and adults will love!
Ingredients
- Mini Babybel cheese wheels (original or white cheddar)
- Sliced mozzarella or provolone cheese (for bunny ears)
- Black sesame seeds or edible marker (for eyes)
- Small pieces of carrot or radish (for noses)
- Chives or green onion strips (for whiskers)
- A small round piping tip or knife (for cutting out details)
Instructions
-
Unwrap the Babybel Cheese:
Remove the outer plastic but leave the red wax shell mostly intact. Cut a small slit at the bottom of the wax to create a “mouth” for the bunny. -
Create the Bunny Ears:
Cut oval shapes from the sliced mozzarella or provolone cheese. Attach these to the back of the Babybel using a dab of cream cheese or honey to secure them. -
Add the Face Details:
- For eyes: Use black sesame seeds or an edible marker.
- For the nose: Cut tiny carrot or radish circles.
- For whiskers: Use thin chive strips.
-
Assemble on a Charcuterie Board:
Place the Babybel bunnies on the charcuterie board along with crackers, fresh fruit, nuts, meats, and Easter candies. Complete the display with chocolate eggs, pastel-colored treats, or bunny-shaped cookies.
Notes
- This is a fun and interactive snack that will be loved by all ages at your Easter celebration.
- If you prefer, you can make different variations by using other cheeses or garnishes.
