Description

These crispy and juicy Air Fryer Honey Butter Garlic Chicken Tenders are perfectly seasoned and drizzled with a sweet and savory honey butter garlic sauce. Ideal for a quick weeknight dinner or a delicious snack! Easy, flavorful, and healthier with the air fryer method.

Ingredients

Scale
  1. 500 g chicken tenders

  2. 1/2 cup all-purpose flour

  3. 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

  4. 1/2 teaspoon paprika

  5. 1/4 teaspoon salt

  6. 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

  7. 1 large egg

  8. 1 cup breadcrumbs

  9. 1/4 cup honey

  10. 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted

  11. 2 cloves garlic, minced

  12. Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  • Prepare the Coatings: In a mixing bowl, combine the flour, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper. Mix well.

  • In another bowl, beat the egg until well combined.

  • In a third bowl, place the breadcrumbs.

  • Coat the Chicken: Dip each chicken tender first into the flour mixture, then into the beaten egg, and finally coat with breadcrumbs, pressing gently to adhere.

  • Preheat the Air Fryer: Preheat your air fryer to 200°C (400°F) for about 5 minutes.

  • Cook the Chicken Tenders: Place the coated chicken tenders in the air fryer basket in a single layer (you may need to cook in batches). Lightly spray with cooking oil. Cook for about 10-12 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden brown and cooked through.

  • Make the Sauce: In a small saucepan over low heat, combine honey, melted butter, and minced garlic. Stir until well-mixed and warmed.

  • Serve: Drizzle the honey butter garlic sauce over the cooked chicken tenders or serve on the side for dipping. Garnish with fresh parsley, if desired.

Notes

  • Ensure the chicken tenders are coated well with the breadcrumb mixture to get a crispy texture.

  • You can adjust the sweetness of the sauce by adding more or less honey according to your preference.

  • If you’re cooking in batches, keep the cooked tenders warm by placing them in the oven on low heat.
