Description

Delicious and easy 5-Ingredient Breakfast Hand Pies filled with scrambled eggs, crispy bacon, and melted cheddar cheese, wrapped in flaky puff pastry for a perfect morning treat.


Ingredients

  • 1 sheet puff pastry, thawed
  • 4 slices bacon, cooked, drained, and crumbled
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese, divided
  • 1 tablespoon melted butter
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried basil (optional)
  • Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a bowl, whisk eggs with salt, pepper, and dried basil if using.
  3. Cook the eggs in a skillet over medium heat, stirring until softly scrambled. Remove from heat.
  4. Roll out puff pastry sheet and cut into 4 equal squares.
  5. Divide scrambled eggs, crumbled bacon, and half of the cheddar cheese evenly among the squares.
  6. Fold each square over to form a triangle and press edges to seal.
  7. Brush the tops with melted butter and sprinkle with remaining cheddar cheese.
  8. Bake for 15–18 minutes or until golden brown and puffed.
  9. Let cool slightly before serving.
