- 1 sheet puff pastry, thawed
- 4 slices bacon, cooked, drained, and crumbled
- 3 large eggs
- 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese, divided
- 1 tablespoon melted butter
- 1/2 teaspoon dried basil (optional)
- Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a bowl, whisk eggs with salt, pepper, and dried basil if using.
- Cook the eggs in a skillet over medium heat, stirring until softly scrambled. Remove from heat.
- Roll out puff pastry sheet and cut into 4 equal squares.
- Divide scrambled eggs, crumbled bacon, and half of the cheddar cheese evenly among the squares.
- Fold each square over to form a triangle and press edges to seal.
- Brush the tops with melted butter and sprinkle with remaining cheddar cheese.
- Bake for 15–18 minutes or until golden brown and puffed.
- Let cool slightly before serving.
