Ingredients

Scale
  1. For the Chicken:

    • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
    • 1 tbsp olive oil
    • 2 cloves garlic, minced
    • 1 tsp smoked paprika
    • 1/2 tsp ground cumin
    • Salt and pepper, to taste

    For the Wrap:

    • 4 large flour tortillas (or your favorite wrap)
    • 1 cup smoked gouda cheese, shredded
    • 1/2 cup creamy ranch dressing or garlic sauce
    • 1 cup fresh spinach leaves (optional, for added freshness)
    • 1/2 small red onion, thinly sliced (optional, for extra crunch)

For the Garlic Butter Sauce (optional but amazing!):

    1. 2 tbsp unsalted butter
    2. 2 cloves garlic, minced
    3. 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes (optional, for a spicy kick)
    4. Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  • Prepare the Chicken:

    • In a small bowl, mix together the olive oil, minced garlic, smoked paprika, cumin, salt, and pepper.
    • Coat the chicken breasts evenly with the seasoning mix and let it marinate for about 15-20 minutes (or up to an hour if you have time).
    • Heat a grill pan or skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the chicken breasts for about 5-7 minutes per side or until fully cooked and golden brown on the outside.
    • Let the chicken rest for a few minutes before slicing it thinly against the grain.
  • Assemble the Wrap:

    • Lay your tortillas flat on a clean surface.
    • Spread a thin layer of creamy ranch dressing or garlic sauce on the center of each tortilla.
    • Evenly distribute the sliced smoked gouda cheese, fresh spinach leaves (if using), and red onion slices (if using) on top.
    • Place a generous portion of the sliced chicken on top of the cheese and veggies.

  • Roll and Grill:

    • Roll up each tortilla tightly to form a wrap.
    • Heat a grill pan or skillet over medium heat. If you like a crispy finish, lightly butter the outside of each wrap.
    • Place the wraps seam-side down and grill for 2-3 minutes per side until golden brown and the cheese has melted inside.

Notes

  • Feel free to adjust the fillings according to your preferences. Add more veggies or your favorite sauce to personalize the wrap!
  • If you’re looking for a healthier option, you can skip the butter grilling step and just heat the wrap on the stove.

  • The garlic butter sauce is optional but highly recommended for an extra burst of flavor!
